Hacker camps have been happening since 1993, when the first one took place in the Netherlands. They are vital for the continuation of hacker- and open-development culture, and they are also a fantastic experience. This year is special, with several hacker camps happening in sequence this summer. From larger ones such as EMF a few weeks ago to MCH in a few weeks. There are also a ton of smaller ones such as Bornhack, HOA, Fri3d and more. This talk showcases the inner workings of a hacker camp illustrated with many weird stories and pictures. Would there be a place for such a thing in Albania?
